DJ Eclipse — The Presence of the Eclipse

25 years in the music business. A DJ, songwriter and producer — but above all, a performer who believes the best moments cannot be planned.

My sets are rarely prepared. They are live, instinctive and constantly moving — built in the moment from the energy of the room, the people, and the music.

I read the crowd, follow the feeling and create the journey as it happens. One track leads to another, the energy rises, shifts and explodes. And when the moment is right, I can bring in music that I’ve written and produced myself — making the experience even more personal.

There is something electrifying about being present when everything comes together.

The sound. The crowd. The energy. The moment.

That is the Eclipse — a rare, special moment that you don't simply hear.

You experience it.

THE  SOUND OF SUMMER

It started with a question.

“Al mare?”

Summer in Salento is something else.

From May through October, the sun seems to become part of everyday life. Blue skies, warm evenings, long days and the sea never feeling very far away.

Living in Salento, I found myself wearing shorts almost every day.

My neighbour would see me walking around and, almost as a running joke, ask:

“Are you going to the beach?”

“Al mare?”

It became one of those simple everyday moments that captures something much bigger about life here.

Because in Salento, al mare isn't just a destination.

It's a state of mind.

It's the feeling that summer is always around the corner.

It's the sea after work.

It's meeting friends for a drink.

It's watching the sun disappear.

It's music drifting through the evening.

It's deciding that you might as well stay out a little longer.

That simple question became the starting point for DJ Eclipse – Salento Summer – Al Mare.

I wanted to create a track that didn't try to explain Salento.

I wanted it to feel like Salento.

The heat.
The freedom.
The rhythm.
The sea.
The people.
The endless summer.

After 25 years behind the decks, and now developing further as a songwriter and producer, this track represents another part of the journey — creating music from the experiences and places that surround me.

So when you hear:

“Salento Summer… Al Mare.”

It's not just the name of a song.

It's the question my neighbour kept asking.

And now it's the soundtrack to the answer.

Al mare.

*Dad With Dignity* began as a way to escape the emotional pressure of ongoing family court proceedings and prolonged separation from a child. During a period dominated by legal documents, supervised parenting time, uncertainty, and endless attempts to understand a foreign legal and social system, music became a private outlet.

What started as a distraction slowly became a deeply personal body of work built around fatherhood, dignity, resilience, and emotional survival. The music was shaped during late nights researching systems, writing notes, processing emotions, and trying to make sense of experiences that often felt surreal.

One moment in particular became a turning point. One day my daughter quietly slipped me a drawing she had made and torn from her school book. It was such a small act, but it carried enormous emotional weight. That experience inspired the song *Walking Hand in Hand* — a reflection on connection, innocence, love, and the simple human importance of shared moments between parents and child.Other tracks, including *Be the Light to Break All*, carry messages of hope, positivity, emotional endurance, and breaking cycles of conflict rather than feeding them.

While the EP is rooted in personal experiences, Part Two is the conclusion. I will personally feature on about 3-4 tracks, some tracks are better left in the past. I hope the music can bring a sense of purpose to anybody in a similar situation experiencing custodial trauma as it has helped me.At its heart,

*Dad With Dignity*

I AM A BETTER MAN,

I DON'T FALL, I SOAR,

I DON'T JUST LOVE YOU,

I RISE FOR YOU.Xx
